Speaking of sleeps. I can't. You'd think I was jet lagged. All weekend i slept and now i can't.

Fall is potentially my favorite time of year. So many things to look forward to. I'm excited about alot of things lately. With that, comes my many countdowns. As of today:

4 more sleeps till my birthday!
12 more sleeps till my bff comes home from South America.
17 more sleeps till my trip to Vancouver/Victoria.
33 sleeps till Halloween.
Thanksgiving. When is Thanksgiving this year?
88 sleeps till Christmas.
94 sleeps till New Years.

It was a slow weekend. Not really by choice, but much needed. Friday I was exhausted and in bed by 9:30pm. Saturday I went to the market with my Gma which was really nice. Its been awesome spending time with her and I'm glad I moved in.

now. #2 is BROKEN. no liquid, no blunt abuse. just died. So i took it to the repair shop and its gonna cost me 120 dollars. Id rather get it fixed than buy a new one. Of course i cried in the repair shop. Best part is, after i went to buy a bottle of wine and a friend called me while in the liqour store and i cried some more. People mustve thought i was crazy. Or an alcoholic. I changed my mind and bought two bottles.

Did i mention i have a cavity? Not pumped to get that fixed.

So i'm on my way to feeling better as of the last hour. But this morning, not so much. A "sick" day for me consists of me still going into work at nine. Got my stuff in order for my only appt at 3:30 so i left around noon for lunch and well a nap. I told my boss id be longer than an hour, cause im sick right. Two oclock comes around and apparently my appt showed up early so i booked it back to work took care of them which took forever.

In other news, Im making strides towards living a simpler and happier life. Getting rid of a couple things.. and taking on some good habits. I'm sick of waiting for things to happen.

So. While i'm on the topic of missing australia. Here is an exert from an email i sent to my friend kyla while i was away. She msged me this today to refresh my memory. and seriously wow. Just a filler iner. This is durring the time shelby and i were running out of money. We were in Surfers paradise and ended up taking a "sales" job, going door to door. heres brieftly what happened.

"#1 they gave us a pamphlette but told us not to hand it out. when i looked at it, it was for a different company and they had stappled it shut so we couldnt look inside. #2 the van was disgusting. so dirty. the seat in the van i was sitting in was broken in the recline position...? #3 the guy who was driving us around im pretty sure was 17? yeaaah. so we knocked on one door and decided this was the craziest thing ever. so we called them and told them we quit. they came back to reclaim their clipboards. and left us. it took us over 2 hours to get back into the city to our hostel. but we're alive. "

Now that i re read that, it might be one of those you had to be there moments. But seriously. Sketchiest situation i've ever been in. Lesson learnt. Don't get in white vans with strangers.

Ya. There was more. Summer was a blurr. Way too fast. But I did get to camp quite a bit. Two weekends at Shoal Lake, one at Clear Lake, one at Nutimik, and another at Kenosee. Plus two weddings, many ready mixes, drinks, coffees, parties and friends. I actually don't think I slept in once, and rarely to bed before midnight. No wonder I'm sick. I need a good sleep. Speaking of which, these meds are not working.

Heartstopper.

I worked 8-8 today which blew. My last customer of the day clearly had a super bad cold and was rubbing her germs all over my desk. Dont worry moments after she left i started sneezing and haven't been able to stop... my immune system is mia apparently. I just spent $12 i don't have on medication to knock me out and its not happening... so i'll post. 7 11 is so stetchty at 3am.. UGH. tomorrow is going to suck. I have a dentist appt at 9 am so i'm already gonna be late for work.. i haaaaaaate the dentist. and i have heaps of stuff to do and being sick just doesn't make it very easy to be my happy self. Speaking of which, my job doens't make it easy to be my happy self. It's those damn heels i wear. If I could get away with it I would rock my mcc special, apple river sweater to work everyday.

i wish you could make cuts on this. anyone?

On another note. Two weeks and two days till my birthday. and yes i get very excited. Oh and its on a Thursday this year.. mmm yes.

Our photoshoot was postponed cause of rain. Which clear up only moments after i dropped her off... ugh. These def arent my best, but for you selena, i will post them. I guess the sun'll come out tomorrow..

completely disheveled.

Today I had to go into work around 2pm and on my way there i thought, hey i should bring some coffee for my coworkers, as people usually do in the morning. And then i thought, no i should bring ice cream cones. No one ever brings ice cream cones. So i get in the mcdonalds drive thru and learn only four fit in one of those holders, so i ordered four. I waited (un) patiently for approx 15 mins which is way too much for ice cream and when i finally got the cones i realized i had to drive standard with ice cream in hand. Smartest idea ever. Whatever, i made it and without dripping on my work clothes and without getting in an accident. And three lucky people LOVED me.

Ive decided I can drive better with four ice creams cones, possibly with an ice pick through an eye, and a bear in my back seat, than most drivers in Winnipeg.
