Ok pretty much right now I'm the happiest girl in the world.

A. I got asked to shoot a wedding in Mexico Jan 1st-8th and am all set and booked to go! One week all expenses paid in the Myan Riviera!!

B. I kinda sorta started looking for a new place to live last week with the lovely Ashley Morden, and after a few disappointments we found the most AMAZING house. Amazing. And then a 3rd girl, Janique, was added to the equation and it became possible.

New dark hardwood floors.

Dishwasher.

Concrete counters.

Yellow kitchen.

Deck.

Screened in front porch.

Bbq and patio furniture included.

Potlucks, feasts, bbqs, tea parties, fiestas here we come.

I am so excited to have a home.

Morning Elegance.

This gorgeous foursome is family friends of ours. Janelle works with my dad in real estate. Her and her husband Craig and two children Brooke and Austin and I met up in the park to snap some family shots last weekend!

Cosmic Love.

Last weekend I spent Saturday in the Dominion City area photographing Keesy and Darryls wedding. They got married on Keesy's parents GORGEOUS yard! Tons of trees and greenery. It was awesome! The weather was great and it was a beautiful day! I loved Keesy short wedding dress and the bouquet was so unique and stunning, just like her! They were a wonderful couple and I wish them all the best in your life together!

This week was full of disappointments and let downs. I was upset Mon and Tues night about plans not going according to plan. Tues while sitting at home a friend called me and invited me to a show with her. Her plans too had not gone according to plan and she needed someone to go with. It was a beautiful night of music and peppermint tea. Just what I needed. And a reminder that my plan isn't always the best plan.

I didnt work a ton this week so I had lots of opportunity to see friends and get stuff done. I started building my website which has been exciting and fun. Stressful cause I'm struggling with defining my personal style as a photographer... I dont want it to be the same as every other photographer but I dont want it to be too out there either. When it comes down to it the site is pretty plain. I need to sort out logos and watermarks yet this week too. It should be live by the end of the August forsure. Stay tuned!

Love Story.

This gorgeous couple is Janis and Josh.

We only got together a few short weeks ago to do their engagement photos. Slightly late but it was good to get to know them as a couple and boy oh boy are they in love. Laughter and smiles were in abundance this day and you could tell just by watching them they had found their perfect match. Shooting them Saturday was a pleasure. It was a gorgeous wedding! Anyone who knows me knows I love lace and pearls! Oh and a bird cage veil. Gah. I was slightly in love myself.

And shooting with me was my wonderful friend and photographer Aly Lenhardt. It was an incredibly enjoyable day! Best wishes you two!
