Airplane/Primitive.

I think 2009 could possibly be my best year yet. Much possibility, much hope. Putting in some time right now, but it will all pay off. I awoke yesterday at 11:30pm after falling asleep on the couch after work, filled with unexpected energy I ventured out to a party on broadway. The rest of the weekend has been spent sleeping, and keeping warm. Can't get enough of either!

I made myself a 'good morning' playlist for tomorrow and I'm so stoked to wake up and listen to it. A little Cat Empire, a little Isley brothers twist and shout, little TI, Strokes and Tegan and Sara. And of course Le Tigre! So good.

It is Well.

I am so so so happy about these little wonders.
Its hard to imagine the world anything but good.

Staying in has been posative, I got lots done this week.

Red Letter Year.

It's possible I'm taking a month hiatus from life.

I spent most of my Christmas bonus on cd's and all i wanna do is lay in bed and listen to them. And read some books. I need to apply to school. I need to catch up. On sleep, letters, phone calls and oh so many pictures I need to edit and burn for people. (Sorry Shelley, long over due i know) Call me if its important.

Help, I'm Alive.

Sleep finally came this last night. Its been an array of late nights and insomnia. I'm exhausted and worn down. Still in recovery mode from Montreal. After this weekend I'm done.

New years, we landed around one and Jacob picked us up. He took us to the apartment of his friends which we had to ourselves and we dropped off our stuff. Then we walked. Saw some stuff, hit an LC. His parents made us a delicious supper at their place. Our friend Stephan, of Carman Manitoba happened coincidentally to be in Montreal on work so we went to his hotel and hung out with him, his gf and some of his work buddies. It was hands down the best new years ever. Its one night of the year I'm always disappointed in and Shelley and I had no expectations, we just wanted to dance and not pay $50 to get into a bar. So we found this bar called Brewtopia. It was perfect. There was a band which played covers, $10 cover, cheap drinks, 80% boys, and it was just Shelley, Jacob, Stephan, Paulina and I so it was a small crew, no drama.

Home: 5:00am.

Jan1.09 Slept in, thank goodness.

mmm I don't remember what we did New years day. Oh ya we went to Jacobs and made breakfast, but not until 4pm so the day seemed quite short. After breakfast we went to a bar, Frappes, to play pool.

Jan2.09 Shopped!

Montreal was unreal for shopping. I spent way too much.

Supper at Jacob`s with his parents and then he took us to Korova`s which was this small upstairs bar. Stephen and Paulina came out too. Dance, dance, dance. There was sweet music, but i don`t know how to describe it. Gangster? but good to dance to.

Night ended with another chicken burger. Thank you Jacob. :)

Shelley and I were on our own so we got up around 11am and tried to figure out how to get around. We took the metro to old Montreal and just walked. Haha Oh ya I may or may not of gotten a tattoo. Back to Jacob's. Then we went out "our" apartment and Stephen, Paulina, Stephens sister Amanda and Her bf came over and we chilled. After they left we decided to go to Korovas again cause its approx three blocks from our place. There was suuuuuuch good music! I was in such a good mood, but Jacob hated it. So we left and I pouted. Haha.

Got up early! Montreal in daylight is quite nice. Hopped on a Metro to the bus station where i said good bye to Shelley and Jacob, off to Ottawa! Alina and her mom picked me up and we went to Alina's. Had a nap cause I wouldn't of made it without one. There night we went to Alina's friend place and drank wine.

The bus's in Ottawa are on strike so that blew cause cabs were expensive and made it hard to get around. So we decided to chill and watch movies. I'd spent enough money in Montreal. We walked to her brothers Joey's place. Him and his gf Chelsea lived in Fernie when I did too so that was good to see them! We watched the hockey game with some of their friends and other Fernie buds.

Alina had to work so i just slept and watched movies. She worked till seven and my flight was at seven thirty so I didn't see her at all that day. Her dad picked me up and drove me to the airport. I had a lovely 30 min lay over in Toronto. Landed 12:30am. My dad picked me up and brought me home. Only regret of the trip. I really didn't take that many pictures!

Oh kay. So my flight from Toronto was like a bad movie. Not one, but two screaming babies, the entire time. To my left, a snorer. To my right, a nose whistler. And I'm pretty sure my flight attendant was quiting smoking. Possibly. Oh and my ipod died. I was so ready to be home when i got off the plane.

So I need to start saving lots of money. No more trips, for now.
