I've been pretty stuck on this for a week now. I saw them when they were in Winnipeg this summer. One of the singers is a friend, of a friends sister. Recently was reminded of how good that night was and searched them out. The sound is... pure bliss. Wine and the O'darling's... great combo.

I found some films i never developed. I love the surprise of film. Kinda hate the pictures that don't turn out, but the quality and texture is so worth it!

This was a nice start to the morning. I'm excited/inspired from the American election. I'm not one to talk or k even care much about politics, but i think he's going to do good things and i'm glad he won. Russ Martin would kick me in the teeth to hear i didn't even vote during our election cause I was busy (didn't care). Sorry. That's all.

Things I'm digging these days:
-the snow (kinda. snowboarding?)
-the new boots i bought today! Not stylish at all, but sooo practical.
-Staying home and doing nothing on a friday night. So good.
-Empire of the sun

In other news. I cut my hair shorter and dyed it darker. Also i bit my nails today and am not impressed with myself.

Wednesdays have a new meaning. Nicolettes (aka, the Big N)
Today we put on our third date sweaters and did our hair pretty to make our third weekly appearance at Nic's. Good times were had and we had a pretty successful exit. At least three people said goodbye, some with our names. We're going to establish regular status there and then one day show up with thrity people, on a Wednesday of course.

Things the Nic has to offer:
-pleanty of room
-pool AND dart leagues.
-juke box
-box wine
-Sue, the waitress is super rad.
-great atmosphere. I can already picture our party there.
-much more!

Beautiful Letdown.

On Sunday a girl spilt my drink, yelled at me, and later i apologized to her. Does that make sense? I need to stop apologizing for things I didn't do.

Heart Shaped Gun.

Reason number one I have the coolest friends. Shelley designs and makes her own clothes and was in this fashion show last week. So talented. Side note, she came home from South America approximately three weeks before the show and whipped these up.

Reason number two. Scott and Mike. Super talented guitar players. Together they are Audiogami and they rock my world.



I just love seeing my friends do what they're good at.
